We are constantly looking at ways to minimise the impact of our business on the environment:

Vegetable-Based Inks
All our inks are made with safe vegetable-based pigments. Many of the non-vegetable based inks used contain chemicals that are harmful to living organisms including cancer-causing chemicals.
- Process-less Plates
Unlike most printers we have moved to a system of plates that develop without the need for environmentally damaging chemicals. These plates are more expensive than the more usual metal plates used by the industry but their only by-product is a solution of citric acid (vitamin c) so disposing of this is very safe.
- Recycled Paper and Paper From Managed Forests
Over 98% of the paper we use is either 100% recycled content or is partly recycled and partly made up of pulp from forests managed by the FSC (Forestry Stewardship Council) where trees are cropped or felled in a systematic way to reduce the impact on ecosystems. The trees are then re-planted so the process is carbon neutral.
